BanffChuck is pedaling his bicycle starting today from Banff, Alberta, Canada to Antelope Wells, New Mexico (the farthest most Mexico border crossing in New Mexico). He is pedaling 2745 miles. This should take him about 21-23 days.

Chuck is wearing a Spot Gen 3 satellite tracker… this sends his location to a satellite every 8 minutes when he is moving. We’ve set up a custom site for seeing his progress on a map on this website.

The website for the unofficial race is tourdivide.org where you can see tracking for about 120 riders who started this at the same time.

— Dan Case, who drove over 4000 miles to deliver Chuck to the starting line.
